Why a digital-only display

An analog gauge is good for sensing speed at a glance relative to a scale, but a large digital readout is faster to read precisely — useful when you want an exact number rather than a needle position. This page shows only the digital display, along with trip statistics and all five supported units.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch back to the analog gauge?
This page is locked to the digital-only view for a focused, glanceable display. Visit the main speedometer to switch between analog, digital, and both at once.
Why does the number update slightly behind real time?
Your device reports a new GPS fix every second or so, and readings are filtered to reject noise and GPS jitter, which adds a small amount of smoothing rather than reacting to every raw sample instantly.
